We had the opportunity to test fit hitches on the Pontiac Grand Prix and found that the Curt Hitch # C12225 has just 7 1/2 inches of clearance from the bottom of the receiver to the ground. What are the Cut Outs for on the Back of Trailer Fender # PF11X35W-2
If you look at some of the other pictures of Fender # PF11X35W-2 you will see that it has somewhat of a cut out on either side at the back but they are for the included mounting brackets. The same goes for the Fulton fenders but they do not come with mounting brackets. Clearance lights can be surface mounted to the outside of the fenders.
